T-Online Shop tested by WISO

Aschaffenburg, December 5th 2007 - The business magazine WISO rates the service of the T-Online Shop as very good.

In its last issue, ZDF's magazine for Economic and Social Affairs WISO scrutinized several online shops. Right now, before Christmas, this topic is in fact of special interest to many people, since online shopping is not only cheaper, but also very advantageous in terms of comfortable and stress-free purchasing from home.

They fear, however, potential disadvantages: possible hidden costs, long lead times and problems in case of complaints. That's why 6 online shops, among them the T-Online web shop, were tested for these aspects. Prices were in all shops far lower than retail prices, even including forwarding expenses. Four shops delivered within only 5 days, whereas two were not able to deliver at all.

Then the service was subjected to an endurance test: a small defect was inserted in each of the four ordered devices, DVD recorders. Each shop handles returns a little differently. Consignments from T-Online Shop are always accompanied by a return slip that allows returning the device postage free. In the case of another provider, a phone call had to be made first and then the sending of a prepaid parcel stamp had to be waited for, and in still another one, the device even had to be returned at one's own expense.

In the third part of the test, the amount of time needed to return the repaired device was assessed. Here, too, the T-Online Shop did exceptionally well: like one other provider, it delivered the device already after two weeks, the third needed three weeks and the forth one month.

The overall result is something to be proud of: the T-Online Shop was particularly convincing in its service, but also did well in terms of prices and promptness! The T-Online Shop is run by e-commerce service provider 004 GmbH that has been very successfully accompanying some renowned clients for about five years. So, the good test result is not surprising, since professionalism is known to pay off.
