004 as service provider for 1.FC Köln

Aschaffenburg, May 30th 2008 - In conjunction with the promotion of 1.FC Köln to the German Football League, the contract between them and the e-commerce specialist 004 GmbH has been renewed. It is already five years that the e-commerce specialist 004 GmbH has been running the official online fan shop of 1.FC Köln very successfully.

Up to now, 004 GmbH for Advisory and General Services has taken on this task on behalf of a merchandising service provider. From the start of the new German Football League season, 004 will be running the online sales of the fan items directly for the Cologne football club.

The full service e-commerce provider 004 is responsible for the operation of the web shop in the areas of web design, shop system, call center, storage, logistics and accounts receivable.

The services offered are regularly adapted to the client's needs. For instance, on the occasion of last year's start of the German Football League season, the online shop was redesigned and at the same time integrated directly into the portal of the football club, and new features such as an online browse catalog were installed for the fans.
